About Seheri
A Detroit native, Seheri overcame a challenging upbringing to earn a degree in Creative Writing & Film Studies from Pepperdine University before continuing her studies at Johns Hopkins University. During film school, she was awarded a Saul Zaentz innovation grant to write and produce an original web series.
Next, Seheri moved to Thailand as a Henry Luce Fellow to work on international film productions. While living in Asia, Seheri experienced a spiritual awakening that redefined her life and work. After returning to the US, she started a story consulting business and developed a unique approach to writing that focuses on finding and strengthening each story’s emotional core.
Whether she’s acting, writing, or speaking, Seheri expresses from her heart. Her stories transcend genre and span multiple formats including poetry, memoir, and screenplays. The nexus of Seheri’s work is deep inquiry, radical honesty and an unwavering mission to reveal the eternal beyond the illusion of transience.
Seheri resides in Los Angeles yet loves to travel to speak and perform. She practices Transcendental Meditation, Reiki, and enjoys spending time in nature.
