About Seheri
A Detroit native, Seheri faced a challenging upbringing as one of twelve children. She found refuge in stories that she created in her mind. Joining the theater around the age of ten, she began acting and screenwriting.
As a teen, Seheri moved to Los Angeles where she earned a degree in Creative Writing & Film Studies at Pepperdine University. Later, she continued her studies at Johns Hopkins University where she was awarded a Saul Zaentz innovation grant to write and produce new media.
Next, Seheri moved to Thailand as a Henry Luce Fellow to work on international film productions. While living in Asia, Seheri experienced a spiritual awakening that redefined her life and work. She began studying healing arts and her spiritual life blossomed, becoming a profound source of strength and creativity.
Since returning to the US, Seheri continues to tell stories across a variety of mediums and also offers healing services to help people like her heal their hearts and find their voice.
Whether she’s acting, writing, or speaking, Seheri expresses from her heart. The nexus of Seheri’s work is deep inquiry, radical honesty, and a sincere mission to help the collective heal.
Seheri resides in Los Angeles yet loves to travel. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and spending time in nature.
